The Scope of Our Ministry事工重點:I. Agape Christian Center 主愛基督徒敬拜祈禱院Julia purchased two adjacent properties of a total 1.1 acre nearby our current home in August 1993 under the perception that it would be rebuilt and would house a medical and retirement community. In the next 10 years all the nearby properties were continuously developed into a community of such a category and our properties can be of better use. Then the gracious God designated it for healing & mercy ministries in the spring of 2001 and for the 24/7 worship & prayer ministry in the fall of 2002. On December 18, 2003, The Lord inspired Julia to build a facility of 18,000 sq ft in the name of Agape Christian Center. The Center will house a 24/7 worship/prayer & healing ministry in the name of Church of Glory and up to ten global ministries. The auditorium will be used primarily for worship and housing Christian Conferences. It will also be available for Chinese and other ethnic groups to host the cultural events, musical concerts, and educational seminars. Before the Center is built, Julia operated the ministry from her home. In December 2000 Julia & George bought our current home and finished the basement to be Julia’s personal worship & prayer and E. Excel business centers. In December 2002 Agape Christian Fellowship started to meet and worship & pray in the Center, and Julia started to work with the Greater Ontario House of Prayer in Burlington/Hamilton ON. In February 2003 Julia met Rev. Lorrie Esgerra in Mississauga ON and connected with the Praise to Victory Ministry in Oakville ON, which had been an important link in God's divine plan. In December 2003, Julia heard God’s audible voice “the New Jerusalem can only come down out of heaven through 24/7 worship & prayer” after the midnight prayer with a Canadian couple on Rev. 21:2-4, then Pastor Mike Bickle of the International House of Prayer at Kansas City, MO became the spiritual covering of the Center. Julia developed the House of Prayer for All Nations ministry right after her first trip to Israel in September 2004. We opened the Center for other intercessors to worship & pray in December 2004. After the establishment of three 24/7 worship & prayer houses in Jerusalem, Israel (Am 9:11), Julia received God’s release to sell the 1.1 acre property in Burlington ON in 2007 and acted on the development of 24/7 worship & prayer houses in the Great Toronto Area by connecting with the Kingdom Covenant Center in Mississauga ON in 2006, the Champion Life Center in Brampton ON in 2007, the 24/7 Church in Burlington ON in 2008, the Portico a community church in Streetsville ON in 2010, and the Calvary Pentecostal Assembly in Cambridge ON in 2012. II. Agape Chrisitan Fellowship 主愛基督徒團契Julia and George had interceded and helped in establishing four Chinese churches in the Great Toronto Area (GTA), the Hamilton (now Grace) Mandarin Alliance Church 主恩國語宣道會 in Hamilton ON in 1991, the Fountain of Life Christian Church 生命泉靈糧教會 in Toronto ON in 1998, the Calvary Baptist Church Chinese Ministry 貴湖浸信會華人福音堂 in Guelph ON in 2003, and the Burlington Chinese Christian Church 博靈頓華人基督教會 in Burlington ON in 2006. On the 2002 Christmas Eve in a shopping mall nearby our home, Julia met two Mainland Chinese families looking for local Chinese church. Julia invited them to our home for fellowship and started the Agape Christian Fellowship (ACF) 主愛基督徒團契 that outgrew our home on the 2003 Christmas Eve and a Chinese church was established in the Glad Tidings Pentecostal Church (GTPC) in January 2006 and later became her Chinese Service in January 2009. The Chinese church moved out GTPC and became an evangelic branch of the Brampton Chinese Baptist Church in January 2012. In September 2006 Julia resumed the ACF Weekly Meetings at her home to train Chinese disciples. After the opening of Mississauga Living Water Renewal Church 密西沙加活水更新教會 in Mississauga ON in January 2011, Julia received the revelation and changed the ACF home church to Agape Church of Glory 真愛榮耀堂。 After our son returned home for personal care in October 2012, Julia & George discontinued weekly Worship & Word meeting and turned our attention to the previous Kingdom calling to the GTA Chinese faith community. We interceded and acted in transforming the GTA Chinese Christians to be Holy Spirit filled and be capable of advancing God’s Kingdom in every sphere of the society (Joel 2:28-32). One Chinese conference "神同在" and one bilingual Chinese/English conference "Kingdom Breakthrough for Divine Destiny" were organized in 2012 for the GTA Christian faith community. Right after the 2011 Canadian Thanksgiving Day, the Living Bridge Assembly 活橋華人教會 was opened in a community center in Cambridge ON and Julia & George started to pastor and minister in the church. By God's grace on the 2012 Resurrection Sunday the church gathered the first time in the Calvary Pentecostal Assembly (CPA), formerly moved to the very premise in May 2012, and become CPA's Chinese Ministry on the Canada Day for five months. The Chinese church moved out of the CPA premise in November 2012 and has since walked on her own. Then the Calvary Chinese Ministry concentrated in training disciples for the global Chinese ministry until September 2013. We have envisioned that the entire Body of Christ will be transformed, by the preaching of the Word of God (Jn 17:17) and being cleansed by the free flowing of the Holy Spirit through continuous worship and praise, to be glorious and radiant Church (Eph 5:23-27), so that the Lord Jesus Christ can take her as His bride, and that she can march on and rule the nations beside Him (Rev 19:7-8&11-16). Now Julia has turned her attention to the global Chinese Chrisitan mission through outreach to the Chinese secular world and the discipleship training of the Chinese church leaders and pastors. George has since concentrated in the Steering Magazine web ministry that he started in 1999. III. Israel Mandate 以色列權責Since 2001 Julia had often been waked up in the early morning by the Holy Spirit and interceded for Israel. In March 2004 Julia attended the first Israel Mandate Conference by the International House of Prayer at Kansas City, MO and met with Rev. Asher Intrator of Revive Israel Ministries and received God’s assignment to visit Israel to lead the Israeli to repent for their ancestral sins described throughout the entire Old Testament, which includes the dysfunctional relationship between Abraham, Sarah and Hagar (Ge 16 & 21). In September 2004 Julia miraculously met the Melody of My Heart Ministry team in the New York Airport and together attended the annual Jerusalem House of Prayer for All Nations Convocation and prayerfully toured a few key Israeli cities. Julia has since had deep compassion for the Jewry and the land of Israel. She has since travelled to Israel as often as possible and determined to intercede for God's sovereign plan in Israel and the Church in the End Time be completely unfolded and the scriptures of Isaiah 62, Amos 9:11-15, and Romans 11:25-26 be completely fulfilled in our generation (Mt 24:34). IV. Market Place Transformation 職場轉化The establishment of Kingdom of God on the earth is not only expressed in the Church (Body of Christ) but also shown in the market place, the Art, Business, Education, Entertainment, Family, Finance, Government, Health, Law, Media, and Sport spheres. Whoever controls these spheres controls the direction of the world and the harvest therein. We should encourage our brothers and sisters to take active roles in the market place (Isa 9:6-8 & Rev 11:15) and the saints should pray 24/7 (1 Ti 2:1-2) for them to act with wisdom, justice, discernment, and excellence, so that the Lord Jesus Christ has the dominium or the ultimate authority over every sphere of the society on earth (Da 4:17,25,32) including the entire Religion (Christian & others) sphere. After the devastating Katrina hurricane in August 2005 Julia felt the need for establishing 24/7 worship & prayer houses in Florida and attended the “International Congress on Spiritual Warfare & Strategic Intercession” in Florida by the Global Harvest Ministries in July 2006 to intercede for Dr. Cindy Jacobs of Generals International to speak on the “Dominium” Theology. On July 8, 2006 in the sky of Orlando FL the Lord expounded to Julia the scripture Ezekiel 1:5-28 that each living creature with four faces represented the 24/7 worship & prayer house having four phases of Jesus Christ ministry: man (worship & prayer: healing & deliverance), ox (servant hood: evangelism), lion (kingship: community, city, nation, & global transformation), & eagle (prophetic ruling of the cosmos: including the earth). These were the subjects of the core courses of Wagner Leadership Institute. Julia has determined to intercede for the establishment of many 24/7 worship & prayer houses with these four ministries in the entire earth so that Revelation 21-22 be completely fulfilled in our generation. V. Agape Counselling and Healing Ministry 主愛協談與醫治釋放1. Nutrition and Immunity 營養與免疫Julia accepted the Lord Jesus Christ in August 1985 and dedicated her life to serve the Lord in January 1998 and has since walked in God's abounding grace with many spiritual gifts and the gift of Nutritional Immunology, a science to study how proper nutrition that relies on a plant based diet and whole foods enhances and balances the immune system which is the best defense for health (Ge 1:29 & Da 1:12). Since leaving the pharmaceutical industry in 1985, Julia always has the desire to set up a natural plant food company to help those fighting with cancers and chronic illnesses and those want to maintain optimal health until the age of 120 years (Ge 6:3 & Dt 34:7). The dream finally came true when E. Excel International Inc. was established in 1987 and E. Excel Products came on the market in 1990. Julia started to consume the products and carry them in her pharmacy in Dec. 1995, which has since became the anchor of our market place ministry. She has provided E. Excel Products to the brothers and sisters of Agape Christian Fellowship and other related ministries since April 2003. Since closing down her pharmacy in 2000, Julia has been deeply inspired by the Spirit, that the New Jerusalem can only come down from heaven and the restoration of God's glory on the earth through 24/7 worship & prayer (Eze 1:5-28), and that the various natural plants are God's gifts in addition to the River of God in the restoration of human health and longevity (Rev 22:1-2). In sincere thanking Dr. Jau-Fei Chen for her leadership in pioneering the science of Nutritional Immunology and formulating E. Excel Products, Julia gives all the glory to God (Rev 22:3-5) and often uses E. Excel Products in her healing ministry. 2. Healing and Deliverance 醫治與釋放The Healing & Deliverance ministry should be the whole package of three components: 75%: Biblical Counselling; 20%: Inner Healing in emotional pains and soul issues; 5%: Dealing with demonic oppression and demons. Biblical counselling gives Godly advice based mainly on the Word of God. Inner Healing is a process like peering the layers of onions until the whole spirit, soul and body is blameless (1Th 5:23) through the truth in the Word of God (Jn 17:17) and the power of love in the Holy Spirit (Ro 5:5). Demonic oppression and possession can only be overcome by the blood and name of the Lord Jesus Christ (Rev 12:11), as if the Son set us free, we are free indeed (Jn 8:36). Julia had served in the healing and deliverance ministry since she started to study in Wagner Leadership Institute (WLI) in late 2001 and had pastored and ministered to the Agape Christian Fellowship brothers and sisters since 2003. After graduating from WLI with the Doctoral diploma in Practical Ministry and being ordained Pastor and Minister by the Kingdom Covenant International Fellowship in 2010, Julia further studied to sharpen her counselling skills in the Kingdom Covenant Leadership Institute until 2014. 3. Personal Counselling and Ministry 個人協談服事During the Christian Counselling Internship/Practicum period Julia served in the Singing Waters Ministries in Mono ON to lead the personal ministry in April 2014 and participate in the weekend events for training personal ministers during May-July 2014. Julia also attended the Advanced SOZO Training Ministry by the International Bethel Sozo Organization in Canada at Peterborough ON, the annual Externship in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy in the University of Toronto by the International Center for Excellence in Emotional Focused Therapy, and the Cognitive Behavior Therapy Canada workshop in Toronto ON prior to her graduation in August 2014. With the Doctor degree in Christian Counselling from Kingdom Covenant Leadership Institute, Julia developed an integrated model in Personal Counselling & Ministry applicable not only to the Christians but also to the secular individuals. The integrated model in Personal Counselling & Ministry has included the merits of all the personal counselling methods in the secular world and the various healing and deliverance ministires in the Christian faith community that are currently recognized.
